How to do Step Up
- Stand in front of a sturdy bench or platform, about knee height.
- Place one foot firmly on the bench, keeping your chest upright.
- Press through your heel and step up, lifting your body until the standing leg is fully extended.
- Slowly lower yourself back to the starting position with control.
- Repeat on the other leg, alternating for the desired number of repetitions.
Form Tips
- Keep your torso upright; avoid leaning forward.
- Engage your core throughout the movement.
- Step down slowly to control the descent.
- Use a platform height that allows for good form, usually around knee level.
