How To Create A Custom Exercise
RYSE has +550 built in exercises in our Exercise Library. If you cannot find what you are looking for, you can create your own. We do NOT have a limit on how many custom exercises you can add :)
You can use the muscle/equipment tags or type in the search bar to find an exercise when adding to an exercise.
If you cannot find a particular exercise, you can easily create your own. We track all of your stats and PRs for custom exercises the same way we do for built in exercises.
Create a new exercise (while logging a workout)
In the Add Exercises drawer, click on the Create New Custom Exercise button. Fill out the name, equipment, measurement type, primary/secondary muscles. You can also optionally add a youtube video link if you have a demonstration video you want to be able to reference later.
If there is a similar exercise in the library, you can use the Quick Copy Exercise by clicking the Copy From Existing button.
Create or Edit/Delete a Custom Exercise
From the app main menu, tap the Training button. Select the Custom exercises option. You will see your list of custom exercises.
Tap the exercise to open the edit screen or swipe the exercise to delete it.
