How To Log A Workout In RYSE?

RYSE is very flexible in how you set up your workouts for logging. In this article we will cover the most basic way, logging a workout from scratch (without a custom routine, ai assistant, etc)

@jess.cawood How to log a workout in RYSE ! RYSE is a FREE workout tracking & social app. Log your workouts and we will track your exercise stats, PRs, etc for you #greenscreenvideo #workout #workoutroutine #exercise #gymtok #gym #workoutapp ♬ original sound - RYSE | Workout App

Starting a Workout Log

To start a workout log, click on the + button on the bottom of the Home Screen. This will open a draft Workout Log. After starting your draft workout log, you can add, delete, or modify exercises, sets, or notes within the workout.

Performing and Modifying a Workout Log

A Workout consists of a list of Exercises, which you will perform in order.

On the Log Workout screen, you can perform any of the following actions to build your workout and record your training.

  • To add more exercises, just hit the Add Exercises button. You can choose exercises from RYSE's built in Exercise Library or Create New Custom Exercise

  • You can Create Supersets, Reorder Exercises, Replace, via the … menu on the exercise. You can also swipe the exercise right to open the exercise options menu.

  • Tap the added exercise to open the Log Sets drawer

Each Exercise in your workout will consist of one or more Sets. You can easily Add Sets to an exercise by hitting the "Add Set" button.

  • To delete an unwanted set, just Swipe left to Delete it.

  • For each set, enter the data/details of that set, such as the weight and reps performed, and complete it by hitting the checkbox.

  • Use the notes field to Add Notes to your workout if you have additional details to record.

  • You can also Change the Set Type by tapping the set number or swiping the set to the right.

Completing Your Workout Log

When you are done working out, you can OPTIONALLY add a title, description, and image to your Workout Log in the Workout Post Details.

If you do not add an image to your workout, it will be PRIVATE automatically and will only be visible to you via your Dashboard. Posts with an image will be made PUBLIC automatically unless you change the privacy setting via the Privacy button. Public posts are visible for anyone in the feed as well as on your RYSE profile page.

Once you have finished adding any details, click the Complete button. The Complete Screen will display your workout summary. Click the X in the top right corner when you are done viewing your workout summary.

Huzzah!! You did it!

Congrats on joining the RYSE fam with your first post! Keep logging your workouts in RYSE and you’ll be able to track and measure your progress over time.
